Introducing an Evidence-Based Alcohol Education Program
College ALC is an evidence-based program designed to reduce college student drinking and prevent consequences. The College ALC online course was developed with funding from NIAAA (National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism) and is aimed at preventing alcohol-related harm among college students.
The College ALC program includes:
- A customized, web-based course which allows you to incorporate school colors, campus policies and school resources
- Pre and post-test online student surveys to measure success
- Writing assignments and immediate student feedback
- Tools to track student progress
- Additional resources include a course textbook and workbook for sanction students
The College ALC course empowers schools to provide their students with critical tools and information regarding the prevention of alcohol-related harm.
"We chose College Alc because it was more academically focused.
Alcohol abuse is a serious issue that should be addressed in a serious manner."
